About Dr. David Chisholm

Dr. David R. Chisholm was born in Jackson, Ohio in 1959. After serving in the US Army and beginning a career in aviation, Dr. Chisholm met Jesus Christ and experienced a radical transformation of life and calling into the ministry. After completing his initial Bible College training and working in prison ministry for three years, Dr. Chisholm was directed to plant a non-denominational church in his hometown and served as senior pastor there for fourteen years. In 2000 Dr. Chisholm again was directed by the Lord to plant another church in Parkersburg, West Virginia where he presently resides and serves as the senior pastor and apostle over four Rock Family Worship Centers.

Dr. Chisholm has a unique insight into the operation and manifestation of the Holy Spirit and has been used by God to train many leaders in the ministry. He has a communication style that is direct and insightful as well as an ability to teach the reality of the presence of God that should be experienced in the Church. Dr. Chisholm’s passion is to see the life of the believer come out of the “ideal” and into the “real.” He believes it is the Lord’s desire for every believer to discover their “gift package” and is committed to helping those who hunger for more of God’s person and presence to find and develop their calling.
